Kitty Wright
Writer, Scientist, Artist
I write stories that will make your toes curl, your spine tingle, and your heart beat faster.
BIO
I'm a scientist by profession but fiction writing is my true passion. Storytelling fuels my creativity and fills me with an exhilarating sense of freedom and fulfillment. I write every day and aspire to be a career author.

I’m an active member of Mystery Writers of America, the Women's Fiction Writers Association, Path to Published, Pitch to Published, Writing Away Refuge, and several critique groups, including Scribophile, Critique Match, Critique Circle, and qtCritique. These communities have shaped me as a writer and deepened my commitment to honing my craft.

I live in the Shenandoah Valley and love driving along the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway, which never fails to enthrall me with its ever-changing landscapes.

I have finished my first book in the Michelle Draper Cozy Mystery series and am working on my second. Being a scientist comes in handy since Michelle is an Assistant Professor with formidable brainstorming skills.
